From 2019 to 2021,because of historic drought conditions,the reservoir's water level fell 190 feet (58 meters),from 895 to 705 feet above sea level (see images SS1260032 and SS1260045 for comparison). The tan fringes are areas of the lakebed that would be underwater if the reservoirs were filled closer to capacity. This phenomenon is often referred to as a "bathtub ring
